Senior Contract Specialist (IT, Network & Cloud)

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; 100% onsite

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Negotiate and draft complex technology contracts and Service Level Agreements covering uptime, latency, and mean time to repair.
• Manage transitions from perpetual software licenses to subscription-based cloud models across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Ensure vendor agreements address GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, data processing, intellectual property, liability, and internal security requirements.
• Monitor cloud consumption, eliminate unused licenses and inactive instances, and drive procurement cost savings.
• Manage contract lifecycles, renewal timelines, co-terminous renewals, SLA enforcement, and vendor credit claims.
• Track physical IT hardware assets and software licenses in collaboration with technical, legal, financial, and security stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT procurement, technology vendor management, or legal contract administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of public and private cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management platforms and enterprise ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle.
• Understanding of IP rights, liability limitations, Data Processing Agreements, and vendor compliance.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-oriented terms for executives and cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Certified Professional Contract Manager certification.
• Foundational cloud certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• Experience procuring data center hardware alongside cloud software contracts.
