TL;DR
Data Scientist (AI) (Python/SQL/Databricks): Building predictive models, analytics workflows, dashboards, and generative AI solutions for forecasting, planning, reporting, and business decision-making with an accent on machine learning, data pipelines, and conversational analytics. Focus on prototyping and evaluating retrieval-augmented generation, AI assistants, and workflow automation while validating accuracy, security, scalability, and business value.
Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite role
Salary: $100.2K–$137.8K USD annually for the Bay Area, California. Incentive opportunities may also be available.

What you will do
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
- Develop predictive models, forecasting tools, machine learning solutions, analytical models, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Build and maintain Databricks-based data pipelines, AI-powered workflows, and scalable analytics solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing, HR, Engineering, data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
- Create presentations and data stories for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
- Prototype and evaluate generative AI solutions such as natural-language analytics, retrieval-augmented generation, AI assistants, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, research, academic projects, or professional work.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to learn new data and AI tools quickly.
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, or business intelligence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks, notebooks, SQL, Delta Lake, data pipelines, and machine learning or AI workflows.
- Familiarity with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Git, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of forecasting, scenario modeling, financial analytics, revenue operations, or business performance measurement.
- Exposure to generative AI, large language models, advanced analytics, semiconductor, manufacturing, supply chain, or technology industry data.
