Senior Director, Developer Advocacy (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; on-site

Salary: $280,000–$300,000 annually plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

• Serve as the public voice of hirify.global Cloud for developers, ML engineers, technical builders, architects, economic buyers, and executives.
• Develop a distinctive point of view on AI infrastructure, GPU compute, model training, inference, and cloud platforms.
• Conceive, script, and produce short-form video and other content for social and technical communities.
• Own the developer engagement strategy, editorial calendar, and presence across X, YouTube, Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and emerging channels.
• Engage developers at conferences and meetups, capture feedback, and turn community signals into actions for Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Define and track content, audience, community, influence, and platform-adoption metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in developer relations, developer marketing, technical content creation, or a related field.
• Credibility with AI/ML practitioners and cloud infrastructure engineers, with measurable impact on awareness, engagement, or adoption.
• Current technical fluency in GPU clusters, model training workflows, inference optimization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of distributed inference and post-training techniques, including fine-tuning, LoRA, quantization, RLHF, and model distillation.
• Hands-on experience producing short-form video for technical or developer audiences and comfort serving as a public-facing voice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and compelling.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience building on cloud infrastructure or AI platforms.
• Experience leading or mentoring advocates, content creators, or community managers.
• Experience in an AI-native company, hyperscale cloud provider, or infrastructure startup.
