Director - Data Centers (62981)

Location: Fully remote or onsite in Lakewood, Colorado; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Some field work may be required, with typical travel of 15–25%.

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the data center and mission-critical go-to-market strategy, including revenue, margin, client, and service goals.
• Build strategic client relationships, manage key data center accounts, qualify pursuits, and expand the project pipeline.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, utilization, workload forecasting, and delivery across multiple engineering teams.
• Manage engineering design package delivery, workflow standards, QA/QC, budgets, schedules, quality, and claim avoidance.
• Own portfolio financial performance, including forecasts, backlog, revenue, gross margin, and utilization.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop Team Leads, Technical Leaders, Engineers, and Designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering or field experience and 5+ years of relevant business experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering in the data center industry and extensive experience managing engineering design packages.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Project.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, independent judgment, organization, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
