Senior Funds Lawyer

What you will do

• Supervise and mentor paralegals through complex limited partner transfer processes.
• Manage client and counterparty communications across KYC/AML, transfer documentation, signing, and post-closing activities.
• Own and improve client playbooks and negotiation parameters, escalating material issues to the Legal Director.
• Build trusted relationships with asset managers and investment fund clients.
• Support new client pitches with the Growth team.
• Partner with technology teams to improve AI-driven legal delivery tools and workflows.

Requirements

• Strong experience in funds law, LP transfers, closed-ended funds, or private markets.
• Ability to independently manage complex transfer processes and competing deadlines.
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers and paralegals.
• Strong client relationship, communication, and commercial skills.
• Comfort working with AI-backed legal tools and interest in technology-enabled legal delivery.
• Qualification to practice law in England & Wales or a comparable jurisdiction; 5+ years of relevant experience recommended.
