Reliability Specialist (Vibration/Predictive Program)

Location: Fully site-based in Vacaville, California, United States

Salary: $93,000–$155,000 annual base salary, plus a performance-related bonus

What you will do

• Perform vibration testing, diagnostics, and condition monitoring for rotating and critical industrial equipment.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve reliability and asset management programs.
• Analyze equipment reliability, downtime trends, and repetitive failures to identify risks and root causes.
• Recommend sustainable corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment availability and operational safety.
• Collect and analyze vibration data to identify misalignment, unbalance, looseness, and bearing defects.
• Generate technical reports, communicate findings, and support cross-functional reliability initiatives across the site.

Requirements

• Experience in reliability engineering, asset management, maintenance engineering, or a related technical discipline in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or highly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of FMEA, RCFA, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and asset criticality assessments.
• Hands-on experience with vibration analysis, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, ultrasound, and oil analysis.
• Ability to assess equipment health, analyze complex performance and failure data, and develop data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and technical communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP PM or other CMMS platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
