Staff Corporate Security Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; on-site

Salary: $210,000–$255,000 annually plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Design and implement Zero Trust Network Access and SASE architectures, replacing legacy VPNs with identity-aware access.
• Architect SaaS security controls across Google Workspace, Slack, and Okta, including CASB and DLP protections.
• Implement device trust, Binary Authorization, endpoint security, and hardware-backed identity using TPM and Secure Enclave technologies.
• Strengthen email security through MFA enforcement, session controls, and phishing and session-hijacking mitigation.
• Design AI-native security governance and secure gateways for agent-based systems such as MCP, ensuring auditable actions.
• Scale identity and access management with SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and just-in-time access workflows while identifying and remediating high-risk vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing Zero Trust, SASE, and identity-based security architectures.
• Strong expertise in SaaS security, CASB, DLP, and governance across Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack.
• Experience with device trust, endpoint security, hardware-backed identity, and secure access patterns.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, SCIM, email security, phishing mitigation, and session controls.
• Experience mitigating application-layer vulnerabilities such as IDOR and privilege escalation risks.
• Strong architectural, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills, plus familiarity with AI security governance.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing CASB platforms and enterprise DLP at scale.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building Secure by Default environments in high-growth organizations.
• Background in cloud-native or AI infrastructure environments.
