Staff Software Engineer (TypeScript/React/.NET)

What you will do

• Define the technical vision and architectural roadmap for the partner-facing platform.
• Design and build a scalable platform covering federated GraphQL, REST APIs, SDKs, micro-frontends, integration workflows, developer tools, and web experiences.
• Contribute hands-on through prototypes, production code, architecture reviews, and code reviews using TypeScript, React, C#/.NET, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and SQL.
• Establish standards for API consistency, schema evolution, authorization, security, privacy, reliability, observability, and relational data modeling.
• Simplify partner workflows from discovery and onboarding through testing, certification, launch, and optimization.
• Lead cross-team planning, technical alignment, platform health measurement, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant professional software engineering experience, typically 10 or more years, with a record of leading complex initiatives through production operation.
• Staff-level technical leadership combined with direct contribution to the codebase and experience leading engineers or comparable people leadership.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, service-oriented architecture, and modern software delivery.
• Experience designing durable APIs, especially federated GraphQL and schema evolution, as well as REST or event-driven interfaces.
• Proficiency in C# and TypeScript/JavaScript, with modern frontend experience in React and practical knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and collaborate with engineering, product, commercial stakeholders, and external partners.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer platforms, app marketplaces, self-service onboarding, public APIs, SDKs, documentation systems, sandboxes, or certification tooling.
• Experience with Apollo Federation, HotChocolate, micro-frontends, frontend monorepos, or modern build tooling.
• Experience operating distributed services on Kubernetes across AWS and Azure with observability tooling and relational databases.
• Experience with identity, authorization, consent, data governance, privacy-sensitive systems, or advertising technology.
• Experience using AI-assisted experiences for documentation discovery, integration support, or developer productivity.
