Software Development Engineer (Network Fabric Engineering)

hirify.global AWS Infrastructure Services designs, delivers, and operates global cloud infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.

What you will do

• Build and operate software services that deploy and scale hirify.global network infrastructure across global data centers.
• Develop extensible, production-quality code and distributed systems in collaboration with software, hardware, and network engineers.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency of network fabric services.
• Troubleshoot network issues and manage customer-impacting problems under pressure.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and travel to data center, network, hirify.global, or customer sites as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate priorities across organizations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
• Experience working in a Linux or Unix environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and communicate clearly across organizations.
• Availability for 24x7 on-call operations and critical workplace attendance.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals.
