Account Director (Automotive)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day account management and serve as the primary client partner.
• Build a strong understanding of the client’s business, automotive industry, competition, and customer expectations for digital experiences.
• Inspire and coordinate teams across departments, disciplines, and offices.
• Lead agency projects from concept through deployment and retrospectives.
• Partner with planning teams to analyze business and consumer data and develop impactful messaging and new opportunities.
• Strengthen client-agency relationships through clear communication, trust, and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of account management experience at a creative agency or equivalent.
• Experience working on global accounts and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to develop strong client relationships and communicate effectively.
• Expertise in planning and developing presentations for senior-level clients, both remotely and in person.
• Strong business acumen, initiative, resilience, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile teams is preferred.
