Business Development, APAC (DeFi)

Location: Singapore or Hong Kong; remote-first with regular in-person company retreats and some overlap with US counterparts when needed.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annual base, plus additional on-target earnings potential and equity.

What you will do

• Own the full partnership deal cycle across APAC, from discovery and qualification through structuring, negotiation, close, and post-close activation.
• Originate and manage a pipeline of partnerships with fintechs, exchanges, asset managers, family offices, and protocols.
• Convert investor and partner introductions into signed, funded partnerships and grow hirify.global's in-region relationships.
• Provide local-hours coverage for APAC prospects and partners and represent hirify.global at regional events.
• Navigate FSA, MAS, and stablecoin regulatory considerations when structuring partnerships.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance teams in the US.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales in APAC.
• Network across APAC fintechs, exchanges, family offices, and/or asset managers.
• Track record selling technical solutions to non-technical audiences and owning complex, multi-stakeholder deals with regulated financial institutions.
• Working knowledge of crypto, DeFi, and the APAC regulatory landscape, including FSA and MAS.
• Strong English and business fluency in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin required.
• Ability to work autonomously as the senior-most regional presence and adjust hours for collaboration with the US team.
