Test Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated testing tools and strategies.
• Design and conduct Test and Evaluation procedures to verify system requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures.
• Write system test cases, analyze results, and report system readiness to leadership.
• Provide testing expertise for complex software and hardware applications.
• Lead risk management assessments and integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in test engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing automated test scripts and architectures.
• Ability to lead risk management assessments for complex technical systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate user requirements into detailed test procedures.

Nice to have

• GitLab for CI/CD and Jira for bug tracking.
• Databricks or AWS testing environments.
• Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest experience.
• Experience testing software and specialized hardware components.
• ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification, and DoD or Intelligence Community experience.
