Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Manufactures customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium-voltage switchgear, and power/control buildings.

What you will do

• Perform product inspections, process audits, first article inspections, out-of-box audits, receiving inspections, and testing of incoming materials.
• Audit manufacturing processes for documentation, training, ESD handling, process integrity, and compliance with quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and plans during testing and inspection activities.
• Record and evaluate audit data, prepare quality reports and charts, and review SPC results.
• Investigate engineering test results and root causes, implement process changes, and support internal and supplier corrective actions.
• Calibrate and validate inspection tools and gauges, maintain calibration records, and manage the gauge tracking program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, statistical quality control, and manufacturing inspections.
• Ability to perform calibration using tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, microscopes, and magnifiers.
• Must work in Dallas, Texas, United States.
