Senior Principal Architect, Applied AI Enterprise

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Irving, Texas; Peoria, Illinois; or Broomfield, Colorado office. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $172,630–$258,950 per year

What you will do

• Develop detailed architecture deliverables for business problems solved through agentic AI systems.
• Design technical infrastructure for AI applications, including orchestration layers, tool integrations, data retrieval, and testing.
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into AI solution designs and collaborate with IT, business functions, and product teams.
• Shape enterprise AI architecture and contribute to the organization’s AI strategy.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of modern AI/ML architectures, including transformer models, RAG, agent frameworks, and model orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and multi-cloud or hybrid solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, target architecture, requirements analysis, and enterprise integration.
• Strong MLOps experience, including model versioning, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and governance.
• Experience with production agentic AI systems, LLM deployment patterns, vector databases, embedding models, and observability tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence architecture decisions across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with prompt engineering, function calling, context engineering, and LLMOps.
• Broad software engineering experience with API design and authentication or authorization patterns.
