Forward Deployed Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: San Francisco, hybrid with 3 days per week in the office; early starts to collaborate with teammates in Europe.

Salary: $180k–$250k per year plus options.

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to diagnose problems, scope fixes, and ship solutions end to end.
• Own system design for customer deployments while balancing correctness, scale, and delivery speed.
• Exhirify.global plans and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with Sales, CX, Product, and core Engineering to incorporate customer learnings into the roadmap.
• Help define and scale the Forward Deployed function.

Requirements

• Build and ship full-stack products end to end, with experience in modern frontend development using React and TypeScript and production-ready backend development.
• Prototype quickly, learn from real usage, and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Communicate exceptionally well with customers and internal stakeholders; run customer calls, turn vague requests into concrete scope, and document agreements clearly.
• Demonstrate strong product sense when separating customer requests from underlying needs and deciding what should become a product feature.
• Own outcomes independently in an early-stage, ambiguous individual-contributor environment without waiting for complete requirements.
• Stay calm during delays, bugs, and de-scoping conversations, while pushing back on unreasonable requests.
• Work with the listed stack: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS, Cloudflare, LLM providers, GitHub Actions, Datadog, and Terraform.
