Junior Quantitative Trader / Researcher (Python/C++/AI)

Location: Singapore; hybrid working opportunities available.

Quantitative trading firm developing electronic trading infrastructure, systematic trading strategies, market data platforms, and research tools.

What you will do

• Design, test, implement, and deploy trading algorithms.
• Research high- to mid-frequency alpha strategies using market data, market microstructure, and alternative data.
• Build tools and data platforms for identifying patterns in large datasets and tick data.
• Contribute analytical computation libraries supporting market data analysis and trading.
• Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
• Strong background in mathematics and statistics.
• Proficiency in backtesting and simulation.
• Solid data-mining and analysis skills, including experience with large amounts of data and tick data.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Familiarity with signal generation, statistical models, machine learning, AI agents, and AI workflows.
