Experienced Quantitative Trader (Fintech)

Location: Multiple locations, with anticipated compensation specified for New York and Chicago. Hybrid working opportunities are available.

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 annual base salary, plus eligible bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop and run a currently and consistently profitable trading strategy.
• Trade across markets and asset classes.
• Lead a team or play an integral role in a successful quantitative trading team.
• Maintain strong return on capital and demonstrate live trading performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, compliance, risk, engineering, HR, and legal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
• Consistently profitable trading strategy with a proven track record beyond back-tested data.
• Excellent return on capital.
• Experience at a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or bank.
• Experience leading a team or contributing significantly to a successful team.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
