Assembly Technician (Energy Systems)

What you will do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and finished units using engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Read technical drawings, assembly schematics, and related documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measurement equipment.
• Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks before handoff to testing and QC.
• Identify assembly defects, discrepancies, and design issues and communicate them to Engineering.
• Collaborate with Test and QC teams and support continuous improvement on the assembly floor.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electromechanical or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy or power systems equipment such as inverters, switchgear, or battery systems.
• Technical trade certification or related vocational training.
• Experience with electrical wiring, terminations, or harness building.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
