Mid Project Manager

Location: San José, Costa Rica; hybrid with teams in the office an average of four days per week

What you will do

• Oversee the full delivery and execution lifecycle of agency projects, from scoping through completion.
• Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, expectations, and trade-offs to deliver work on time, within budget, and against agreed objectives.
• Lead resource planning and availability across the office and global network in partnership with department leads and recruiting.
• Build and manage collaborative cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Establish project communication and delivery processes, monitoring people, progress, and dependencies with project management tools.
• Own project estimation, planning, profitability, and detailed project plans in partnership with delivery, finance, and account teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience managing projects in a professional environment; agency or consulting experience is preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Slack, or MS Teams.
• Experience adapting Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies to project needs.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience leading teams and client meetings.
• Ability to influence without authority and collaborate with technology, creative, finance, client, and vendor stakeholders.
