Manager, Affiliate Communications

Location: Must be based in New York, NY or Washington, DC

hirify.global Federation of America is the national umbrella organization for a leading network of women’s health care providers, educators, and advocates.

What you will do

• Develop and execute communications strategies to elevate hirify.global’s health care delivery and education programs.
• Provide expert guidance and support for crisis communications and rapid response to breaking news.
• Conduct media and messaging trainings for national and affiliate staff.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to monitor and assess threats to the brand and operations.
• Draft press releases, talking points, op-eds, and other communications materials.
• Manage affiliate communications listservs and monthly calls to ensure consistent messaging.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY or Washington, DC.
• At least four years of experience in communications with a strong understanding of media outlets.
• Proven experience in spokesperson and media training.
• Deep familiarity with hirify.global’s mission and sexual and reproductive health issues.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex subjects clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rapid-response scenarios under pressure.
