Senior Software Engineer I (GenAI)

Salary: 60,000–80,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver software projects aligned with quarterly team goals.
• Build horizontal GenAI solutions for integration into products across the company.
• Write flexible, reusable, efficient, and adaptable production code.
• Collaborate with leadership to define goals and break them into executable projects.
• Identify technical dependencies and issues across teams.
• Support teammate growth through mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Experience working on software development teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Experience with both frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Ability to contribute to technical analysis, design, trade-off evaluation, documentation, and best practices.
• Ability to solve complex problems through data-driven, iterative software development.
• Willingness to use GenAI tools to improve productivity and accelerate learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI, Node, NestJS, React, Postgres, Jest, or Pytest.
• Experience building universal React Native applications for web, iOS, and Android.
• Experience integrating GenAI into production systems or using LangChain, LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, GCP, or AWS.
• Background in biotech, genomics, or precision medicine.
