Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Remote; 100% work from home

Salary: $170,000–$210,000/year

What you will do

• Drive full-stack projects from concept through delivery and continued iteration.
• Develop new and enhance existing user-facing healthcare features.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to establish consistent APIs and frontend integration patterns.
• Lead cross-team application architecture decisions and produce technical specifications.
• Write unit, integration, end-to-end, and visual regression tests.
• Work with engineers, ML researchers, physicians, product managers, UX researchers, and other stakeholders using Agile practices.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Professional React experience with components, hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
• Python backend experience, ideally with FastAPI or Starlette.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, including DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of asynchronous workflows, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Git, AI/ML technologies, and RESTful services.

Nice to have

• React Native, Expo, or other cross-platform mobile development experience.
• Storybook, visual or snapshot regression testing, harness engineering, or design system experience.
• Accessibility experience, including WCAG and screen readers.
• LLM application experience with streaming, tool calling, and evaluation-driven iteration.
• Temporal, durable execution systems, or healthcare data experience with CDA, CCD, or FHIR.
