Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Process Edwards

Location: On-site in Qingdao, China

What you will do

• Work with global manufacturing engineering teams to design new products and update drawings, specifications, bills of materials, layouts, and quality-control methods.
• Develop standard operating procedures, process routings, fixtures, tooling, and machining processes for new and transferred products.
• Create, validate, and optimize CNC programs for horizontal machining centers, mill-turn machines, and CNC cylindrical grinders.
• Operate machining equipment to validate programs, fixtures, and tooling for new parts.
• Monitor production issues, troubleshoot process problems, and improve safety, productivity, quality, cycle time, and cost.
• Train operators and coordinate with engineering, production, and other related teams during product introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• At least 5 years of machining experience; experience with pumps, compressors, engines, or motors is preferred.
• Required experience with 5S, safety, and lean activities in a workshop.
• Ability to interpret product drawings, structures, and technical requirements in English and develop effective SOPs.
• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English are required.
• Strong production troubleshooting skills; programming with Java, Python, PLCs, or databases is preferred.
