Senior Software Developer (C++/C#)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for civil engineering applications.
• Own features from design through delivery, ongoing support, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, technical decisions, and code reviews.
• Develop unit and integration tests, troubleshoot complex defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior and intermediate engineers, and support Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and C#.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience developing complex, production-quality software systems, with strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, independent work capability, and effective collaboration with distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing desktop or engineering software applications.
• Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, JavaScript, or TypeScript experience.
• Familiarity with cloud-connected applications and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
