Principal Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $256,000–$320,000 per year plus bonus; restricted stock units included

What you will do

• Design and scale hirify.global Cloud solutions for AI workload management.
• Evaluate services, frameworks, and tools based on reliability, scalability, operational cost, and ease of adoption.
• Advocate for forward-thinking architecture and establish reliable, scalable engineering patterns.
• Collaborate with customer success, product, and engineering teams to improve customer experience.
• Write technical architecture designs, contribute code, and review merge requests.
• Develop technical assessments and mentor engineers in partnership with engineering managers.

Requirements

• Experience evaluating a wide range of engineering tools and technologies.
• Ability to assess reliability, scalability, operational costs, and adoption considerations.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers on design proposals and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Strong software engineering practices and a collaborative approach across teams.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California, United States
