Software Engineer (Trading Automation)

Location: New York office, United States

Salary: $185,000–$240,000 base salary per year, plus annual discretionary variable remuneration.

What you will do

• Develop workflow automation applications aligned with business needs.
• Design, create, and maintain data pipelines and data-intensive applications.
• Write automated test cases covering major edge cases.
• Document technical and design specifications together with operational guides.
• Deploy applications to production through continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Provide first-line operational support and collaborate with local and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Git, SQL, Python, and Linux.
• Experience using LLMs to develop software and integrate solutions with existing systems.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Airflow, Ansible, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
