What you will do

• Develop and maintain server-side Java components for an electronic trading platform.
• Implement business logic, new services, framework capabilities, maintenance fixes, and production improvements.
• Own assignments from requirements gathering through rollout and collaborate directly with traders, sales representatives, operations, clients, and technology partners.
• Work across new and legacy systems while maintaining reliable business operations.
• Contribute to QA automation and algorithmic or low-latency development.
• Learn and apply additional technologies such as Python as business needs evolve.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant software development experience with strong core and server-side Java expertise.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and mixed new and legacy systems.
• Fixed-income domain knowledge, with experience in US Treasuries or swaps.
• Previous electronic trading experience with B2C exchanges or B2B venues.
• Experience in algorithm development and low-latency development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code or similar command-line AI tools.
• Experience with Python or willingness to work with additional technologies.
