Senior Software Engineer (Simulation)

Salary: $193,930–$291,150 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Expand the functionality, performance, and usability of the autonomous driving simulator.
• Develop solutions that improve simulation realism and coverage through sensor data synthesis.
• Build automated scenario generation capabilities.
• Design frameworks and interfaces that unify and simplify interactions between complex systems.
• Work on greenfield projects and scale existing systems for critical pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with autonomy engineers to understand autonomy systems and formulate effective solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Professional software development experience with C++ and Python.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle, from initial development through scaling and production reliance.
• Ability to solve complex problems and develop reliable technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders on prioritization and execution.
• High standards of technical excellence and experience raising the technical bar for a team.

• Experience with simulation for autonomous vehicles or other autonomous vehicle development.
