Software Engineer II, Growth (TypeScript/React)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $146,000–$200,000 annual base salary for California-based employees, inclusive of bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Design and build product features that improve activation, engagement, feature adoption, and cross-team expansion.
• Develop full-stack experiences using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Build onboarding, product education, feature discovery, and in-product adoption experiences.
• Create third-party connections that enable other products to integrate with hirify.global.
• Partner with Product, Design, GTM, and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver initiatives.
• Use data and AI coding tools to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and improve development speed, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with modern web technologies, especially React, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Ability to break down complex problems and own features from concept through release.
• Product-minded approach with attention to user experience and business outcomes.
• Comfort using data to make product decisions and working through ambiguity.
• Clear, proactive, and empathetic cross-functional communication.
• Willingness to use AI tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude to accelerate development without replacing system understanding.

Nice to have

• Experience with product-led growth or expansion initiatives.
• Experience building onboarding, in-product education, or integration surfaces.
• Experience designing for enterprise users and scaling systems across diverse organizations.
• Understanding of experimentation and A/B testing platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or partnering with GTM teams.
