Software Engineer (AI Hardware Systems)

What you will do

• Participate in bring-up of next-generation AI hardware systems and software infrastructure
• Debug complex system-level issues spanning hardware and software interactions
• Build automation frameworks and internal tooling to improve validation and debugging workflows
• Develop software to test, validate, and stress distributed hardware systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to resolve system integration issues
• Improve system observability and accelerate debugging processes

Requirements

• Location: Must work on-site in Sunnyvale or Toronto offices
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Experience with Linux development environments and operating systems fundamentals
• Understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software interactions
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience building automation frameworks and test infrastructure
• Familiarity with distributed systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience debugging large-scale or complex infrastructure environments
• Exposure to production systems validation and infrastructure reliability engineering
