Staff Network Production Engineer, Network Ops

What you will do

• Operate the global edge, backbone, and data center networks supporting high-performance GPU clusters.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and guide post-mortem improvements.
• Execute network changes across data centers, backbone, edge infrastructure, and public cloud connectivity.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, metrics, and network observability systems to improve availability and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and cross-functional teams, manage network vendors and contracts, and provide network health analysis.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support and mentor network engineers on incident response and documentation practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience operating production networks at scale.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS-related technologies, RSVP-TE, and LDP.
• Experience with network monitoring and telemetry, including SNMP, IPFIX, sFlow/NetFlow, observability, flow analytics, and dashboarding tools.
• Familiarity with data center, backbone, edge, and public cloud connectivity architectures for AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and OCI.
• Experience scripting or programming in Python or similar languages to automate operations and build tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and other mainstream network devices, plus knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 coexistence.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with InfiniBand, RoCE, or Spectrum-X backend technologies.
