Business Systems Analyst

Location: Washington, DC; on-site five days a week

Salary: $85,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Elicit requirements and support the design, implementation, and daily operation of an enterprise technology asset inventory.
• Maintain new and legacy technology inventory platforms, track assets, support lifecycle processes, and curate inventory data.
• Implement quality assurance, data-quality controls, and data-integrity routines.
• Analyze technology inventory data, develop KPI reports, and recommend improvements to accuracy, usability, and decision-readiness.
• Act as a liaison for stakeholders and users, gather enhancement needs, and provide support for technical and program inquiries.
• Develop documentation, SOPs, workflows, standards, user guides, training materials, and BI reporting support.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in data-centric environments.
• Strong documentation, analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, business communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical acumen combined with the ability to assess requirements and formulate recommendations.
• Some experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITAM/ITSM platform is helpful.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks is beneficial.
• Active Top Secret clearance and the ability to work on-site in Washington, DC, five days a week are required.
