Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, ANS (Utilities)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; flexible work includes remote work, onsite client or hirify.global office work, with in-person collaboration required.

Salary: $145,000–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate activities across functional teams and projects to deliver work on schedule and within budget.
• Manage siting and permitting, engineering, procurement, and construction milestones.
• Oversee project scope, quality, scheduling, financial forecasting, cost control, environmental considerations, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to shorten schedules, reduce costs, and optimize resources.
• Review contractor invoices, schedules, and change orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead project presentations, provide status updates, and coach team members on task plans, spending plans, and communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical utilities construction project management.
• Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or willingness to obtain it within the designated timeframe.
• Experience with electric transmission and substation construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety policies and experience coordinating multiple work groups and contractors.
• Experience managing large, complex project budgets.
