What you will do

• Develop embedded code for the data path of high-performance storage arrays.
• Build fault-tolerant storage systems, high-availability applications, and storage virtualization functionality.
• Design data caching algorithms and data reduction technologies.
• Write software functional and design specifications and document technical solutions.
• Triage continuous integration and deployment issues, as well as customer-reported problems.
• Collaborate with test, customer-facing, development, and global team members to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Strong C and C++ skills with object-oriented design knowledge.
• Experience with embedded multithreaded RTOS applications, Linux user processes, device drivers, inter-process communication, and debugging.
• Knowledge of RAID controllers or other storage controller systems and storage or server products.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python, plus GDB debugging skills.
• Knowledge of test-driven development, Agile development, Git, Jenkins, unit test automation, and code coverage tools such as Coverity.
