Senior Accountant - Workday Financial Reporting

What you will do

• Lead revenue accounting activities, including contract reviews, revenue recognition analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close entries under US GAAP.
• Review client engagements, billing arrangements, and documentation to ensure accurate revenue and balance recording.
• Prepare journal entries, flux analyses, account reconciliations, and management reporting for revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, intercompany balances, and related accounts.
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement audits, including schedules, auditor requests, and international audit coordination.
• Partner with international finance teams and external service providers on entity reporting, statutory requirements, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Improve revenue accounting controls and processes, research technical accounting issues, support systems initiatives, and review work from junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with revenue accounting, audit support, and general ledger close.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, financial reporting controls, and external audit requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with international accounting operations, statutory audits, multicurrency environments, or professional services is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA.
• Knowledge of IFRS or other local accounting standards.
• Experience with Workday.
• Additional spoken languages.
