Product Designer (UX/UI) – Remote

Location: Remote from South Africa or Kenya; U.S. hours with flexibility

A client is hiring for digital product design across web and mobile experiences.

What you will do

• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys to identify friction points and product opportunities.
• Create user flows, personas, journey maps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Design responsive web and mobile products primarily in Figma.
• Build and maintain reusable components, patterns, and scalable design systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into design solutions.
• Prepare developer handoffs with Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar tools and review implementations for design accuracy and usability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Product Design or UX/UI experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and polished UI design.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile products.
• Understanding of user flows, wireframing, prototyping, usability, accessibility, and design systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, consumer applications, or enterprise products.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and basic HTML/CSS.
• Experience with analytics, usability testing, or A/B testing.
• Experience building or scaling design systems.
• Adobe XD or Sketch experience.
