National Account Executive (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: US Remote; nationwide territory with an estimated 30–40% travel requirement.

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Establish, own, execute, and continuously develop strategic account plans with the Sales Director.
• Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers across medium and large electrical contractor and end-user accounts.
• Identify revenue opportunities, understand customer buying processes, and capture account challenges and requirements.
• Develop proposals and large project package quotations covering IEM and complementary products, including complete bills of material.
• Coordinate effective handovers to the Project Management and Platform Execution teams while overseeing commercial engagements through customer delivery.
• Manage sales forecasting and provide account information for capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience selling power distribution equipment, including MV/LV switchgear and switchboards.
• Proven success negotiating medium and large project orders and developing relationships with major contractors.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and account management skills.
• Ability to manage projects with internal execution teams and maintain oversight of commercial engagements.
