Senior Quality Inspector (InProcess Inspection)

What you will do

• Perform in-process quality inspections on products during production.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Identify, document, communicate, and segregate nonconforming materials and quality concerns.
• Maintain quality records and enter inspection data in a computer-based ERP system.
• Support first article and sampling inspections, audits, quality documentation, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
• Provide task guidance, direction, and skills training to other nonexempt personnel.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, technical or business school qualification, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Comfort using computers and learning software programs, with familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Previous product inspection experience.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and similar measuring equipment.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing.
