Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Full-time, in-office position based in Sunnyvale, California, United States. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to the Bay Area.

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications, plus equity.

What you will do

• Work at the interface of software and hardware across kernel design, ASIC performance modeling, system bringup, software tuning, robustness, and simulation.
• Learn and work across the hirify.global product stack, from programming the Wafer Scale Engine to kernel development.
• Model and optimize performance for software products.
• Validate software on physical hirify.global hardware and in simulation environments.
• Analyze and debug system pipelines and performance behavior.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong background in computer architecture and analytical problem solving.
• Exposure to CPU/GPU architectures and programming models.
• Experience working with CPU/GPU simulators and performance profiling or debugging.
• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Basic understanding of machine learning is desired.
