Software Engineer, AI Platform (AI)

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 base pay per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data platform services for AI Driver data, labels, metrics, annotation, ingestion, mining, and autonomy evaluation.
• Develop reliable, high-performance onboard systems for integrating autonomy software and algorithms across self-driving platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and safety teams to ensure reliable and safe interaction between vehicle software and hardware.
• Develop technical infrastructure, including compute platforms, large-scale storage management, cloud infrastructure, build systems, and CI/CD tools.
• Investigate onboard errors and performance issues and improve the efficiency of engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor's or Master's degree candidate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Graduation before July 2026 is stated in the requirements; the role overview also mentions graduation by December 2026.
• Experience with one or more of the following: large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing, advanced algorithms, machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture, robotics software frameworks, or CPU, GPU, and FPGA compute.
• Advanced programming experience with C++ and Python.
• Strong problem-solving, programming, software performance tuning, and optimization skills.
