Business Reporting Accountant

Location: Hybrid working, with attendance at the head office in Lenton twice a week

What you will do

• Produce accurate monthly financial performance reports for managers across the business.
• Report on global sales by territory and channel, as well as cost centre performance.
• Analyse trends and variances against costs and historical performance, providing clear insight and rationale.
• Support annual forecasting activities and the financial appraisal of new stores.
• Monitor capital investment against departmental plans and maintain reliable reporting processes.
• Help managers interpret reports and challenge assumptions to support effective decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Ability to produce concise, accurate monthly reports.
• Strong commercial acumen and an inquisitive, questioning mindset.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across the business.
• Willingness to work from the Lenton head office twice a week under the hybrid arrangement.
