Location: Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania (Hybrid model: 2 days in office recommended)

What you will do
- Design and ship features for the customer support chatbot to resolve member issues without agent intervention.
- Contribute to LLM-powered automation, including retrieval over help content and tool-calling into internal services.
- Build and maintain backend systems capable of handling high volumes of messages with low latency.
- Extract domain logic from the existing monolith into independently deployable services.
- Support code in production using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog, and Kibana.
- Collaborate with the team through pairing, design discussions, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Several years of experience building and operating backend systems in production.
- Proficiency in a high-level language with the ability to learn new ones (Go and Ruby experience is a plus).
- Experience with systems where latency and reliability are critical.
- Interest in LLM-powered product platforms, including evaluation, guardrails, and failure modes.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
- Must be based in or able to work from Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania.
