What you will do

• Monitor and operate IBM Mainframe production systems to maintain availability and reliability.
• Perform job scheduling, batch processing, console monitoring, and system health checks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate production incidents.
• Monitor system performance and proactively detect operational risks.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application support, database, storage, and network teams.
• Execute disaster recovery procedures, scheduled maintenance, documentation, logging, and runbook updates.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as an IBM Mainframe Operator in enterprise production environments.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Mainframe console operations.
• Experience with CA-7, Control-M, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, or equivalent job scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with CICS, DB2, IMS, RACF, and batch processing environments.
• Experience handling production monitoring and critical incidents, with knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts and provide 24/7 production support when required.
