Mainframe Administrator (System & DBA, DB2)

Location: Budapest or Pécs, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain mainframe DB2 system and application database instances.
• Configure backups, recovery, archiving, system monitoring, standard reporting, and z/OS system automation.
• Administer DB2 parameters, system objects, catalogs, libraries, application databases, and database consistency checks.
• Develop migration concepts, manage path and release upgrades, and support related software procurement.
• Implement and maintain DB2 security using internal and external controls such as RACF and TSS.
• Support high-availability DB2 SYSPLEX solutions, including DB2 Data Sharing, while handling tuning, troubleshooting, and third-level support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position with equivalent responsibility.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining mainframe-related DB2 systems.
• Ability to perform DB2 DBA tasks supporting application changes.
• Good knowledge of DB2 system architecture and related administration, cloning, and development-support tools.
• Availability for on-call shifts outside normal office hours.
