What you will do

• Analyze large-scale security datasets to identify attacker behaviors, TTPs, emerging risks, and gaps in detection coverage.
• Map adversary activity to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and model attack paths using security graph data.
• Translate research findings into improved detection logic, analytics, data enrichment, graph quality, and customer-facing risk insights.
• Recommend segmentation strategies and policy improvements that reduce lateral movement and strengthen breach containment.
• Guide Product, Engineering, Sales, and customer-facing teams on emerging threats and their implications.
• Contribute to threat models, risk frameworks, internal research, patents, and future external publications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in threat research, incident response, detection engineering, or adversary emulation.
• Strong understanding of attacker tradecraft across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Deep familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and real-world TTP mapping.
• Hands-on experience with security telemetry sources, detection rules, analytics queries, or threat hunting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn complex findings into actionable insights.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and helping define new functions.

Nice to have

• 7–10+ years in threat intelligence or security research roles.
• Experience with security graphs, graph-based threat analytics, network segmentation, Zero Trust, or microsegmentation.
• Experience at a cybersecurity product company, integrating external threat intelligence feeds, or influencing product development.
• Published threat research, industry conference speaking experience, or certifications such as GCIH or GCFA.
