Associate, New Verticals - International Efficiency Strategy & Operations

Location: Hybrid in Toronto or Vancouver, Canada; candidates must currently be based in one of these cities.

Salary: CAD 86,500–108,000 annually, plus potential equity grants.

hirify.global operates a local commerce platform expanding beyond restaurants into grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and other new verticals across the United States and Canada.

What you will do

• Identify, lead, and prioritize initiatives that improve operating rhythms across New Verticals.
• Optimize Dasher performance through improvements to quality and efficiency.
• Improve cost management and support bottom-line goals.
• Enhance catalog completeness, quality, and discoverability.
• Design and run metrics-based operational experiments, then scale successful initiatives internationally.
• Partner with strategy and operations, enterprise partnerships, product, engineering, analytics, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in consulting, finance, strategy and operations, or a related field.
• Completed bachelor's degree.
• Comfort working with operational and financial data, including Excel and SQL.
• Ability to synthesize complex problems, translate goals into actionable plans, and implement processes.
• Experience or developing ability to use AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor for analysis, problem-solving, or workflow execution.
• Must be currently based in Toronto or Vancouver and able to work in a hybrid model.
