Location: San Mateo, California, United States

Base salary: $100,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize runtime AI inference pipelines for real-world robotic deployment.
  • Build infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling for reliable integration of AI models into robotic systems.
  • Analyze production models to inform architecture choices and deployment-system design.
  • Design optimization solutions for autoregressive, denoising, hierarchical, state-machine, multi-agent, and cloud-based inference paradigms.
  • Adapt inference solutions to varying compute, hardware, and networking constraints.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in low-level systems languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Go, plus Python and a deep learning library such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Strong practical knowledge of multithreading, networking, embedded systems, and memory management.
  • Experience with CUDA, machine learning model optimization, and state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with machine learning compilers and optimizing model inference for robotic deployment.
