What you will do
- Design and implement Field Foundation Models and Dynamics Foundation Models for autonomous robotics.
- Develop risk-aware, uncertainty-driven decision-making architectures for high-stakes environments.
- Reimagine path planning, trajectory optimization, and task scheduling using probabilistic reasoning, geometric intelligence, and adaptive AI.
- Develop, test, and integrate autonomous intelligence modules with ROS.
- Build and validate learning loops in simulation and real-world environments, including field testing and system optimization.
- Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams, deploy and calibrate systems at customer sites, and communicate capabilities and progress to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Experience developing and integrating robotic software with ROS.
- Hands-on experience testing and deploying autonomous robotic systems in the field.
- Solid understanding of path planning, control theory, and trajectory optimization.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for deployments, testing, and troubleshooting, up to 30%.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- GPU programming experience with CUDA C++ or PyTorch.
- Experience with real-time systems, robotics middleware, sensor integration, or perception algorithms.
- Machine learning experience applied to robotics and exposure to industrial, humanoid, or legged robots.
- Experience working in harsh or outdoor environments and knowledge of robotics safety standards and compliance.
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
