Staff/Senior Software Engineer (Autonomous Driving)

Salary: $193,930–$352,290 per year, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain offboard infrastructure for autonomous driving software.
• Develop data platform capabilities for data, labels, metrics, annotation, ingestion, mining, and autonomy evaluation.
• Build simulation systems, including core simulators, simulation frameworks, sensor simulation, and scenario generation.
• Develop technical infrastructure for compute, storage, cloud resource management, build systems, and CI/CD.
• Support mission-critical data processing and simulation workflows at scale.
• Collaborate with autonomy and AI platform teams to improve infrastructure reliability and simulation realism.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, robotics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing systems, or modern microservice architecture.
• Experience with machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture, or software performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with robotics software frameworks or different compute modalities, including CPU, GPU, or FPGA.
