(Senior) Operations Analyst, Life Sciences Sequencing

What you will do

• Manage biotech and pharmaceutical customer account scope activities, project metrics, performance tracking, and client-facing materials.
• Coordinate laboratory, report generation, order processing, finance, and customer success stakeholders to move biopsy samples through sequencing workflows.
• Identify samples at risk and operational bottlenecks, then take action to keep projects within budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with clinical trial sites, clinical research organizations, physicians, and clients on sample procurement and operational requests.
• Support escalation and resolution of critical project issues with resourcefulness and independent judgment.
• Maintain organized documentation, collateral, portals, guidelines, and SOPs across projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in life sciences, genomic sequencing, oncology, or a related industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in management consulting, customer success, account management, or another client-facing role.
• Strong organization, proactive communication, prioritization, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Interest in healthcare, particularly the business side of science, and comfort with complex workflows and ambiguity.
• Advanced skills in Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a healthcare technology company.
• Degree or relevant experience in cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or a related field.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or Looker.
